Maintenance

Due to the natural surface structure of the wool fiber, felting/peeling should be expected at all times during use. It is completely impossible to avoid in normal use, depending on how the product is used. However, use on coarse material (e.g. on the sofa) can worsen it. To counteract this, a lint remover can be used (they are available in electric versions).

The wool blanket cannot be washed, so we recommend dry cleaning if necessary. Often it is enough to air the blanket, as the wool fibers have natural self-cleaning properties.

What is Cashmere?

Cashmere wool is a luxurious and sought-after type of wool that comes from the cashmere goat (Capra hircus). These goats have been bred in regions such as Kashmir in India, Tibet, Mongolia, China, Iran and Afghanistan for centuries.

This undercoat is called cashmere wool or pashmina and makes up only a small part of the goat's total wool production.
