Lambskin from the Swedish tannery Karlsbergs Gård. The skins are obtained from Swedish farms that breed Gotland fur sheep, Swedish fine wool, Leicester and mixed breeds. In Sweden, they have specialized in breeding sheep that produce very high quality skins. The sheep have lived on Swedish sheep farms, where breeding and slaughter comply with strict Swedish animal welfare regulations. The production of lambskin can be ethically defended by the fact that it is a by-product of meat, and therefore nothing on the animal goes to waste.
